Snow and Council Tax . . .

And in The Cobbler of Preston by Christopher Bullock (1716)
"'Tis impossible to be sure of any thing but Death and Taxes,"

Well, here, it is "snow and Council Tax . . . "

A bright sunny day between the showers. The snow is not settling, but still succeeds in looking wintry.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the Council Tax Bill has arrived and has been paid. So, hopefully, we are not going to be turned out just yet.
